This toxic bit of land is covered in radiation pools. Each pool is filled with an almost oozing silvery blue liquid, 100% pure radiation.
|
|
This desolate land is mostly desert. The skies usually crackle with lightning, but rain never comes. Skeletons of ancient beasts dot the land, and many do not pass through, unless absolutely needed.
|
|
The fires from the war still rage on in this part of the land. They are contained within it, and do not come close to the city, but the smoke can still be seen on the skyline.
|
|
Surrounded by pits of tar and toxic waste, this oasis is one of the very few places where plant life even exists. The water is cleaner than most places, but still not safe enough to drink. It is only about a square mile in area.
|
|
One of the last remaining Human cities above ground. Most humans stay underground where it's safe, but the Purifiers here make life above ground possible for those that can afford it.
|
|
A hospital is located near the center of the city. Hybrids are not welcome inside, but all human ailments are fixed by some shady looking doctors who usually have a background in the laboratories.
|
|
There is a small rundown building in between the downtown area and the outskirts where a few humans attend classes. All classes teach basic survival techniques, and a bit of history, but not really much else. Hybrids are only allowed as escorts, and are not allowed inside the building.
|
|
This is a rather extravagant building, and the only one usable above 4 stories. The inside is completely sealed off and Purifiers keep the air nice and clean all the way to the 10th floor. Only Breeze members are allowed inside, and are granted access with key cards.
|
|
Around Shadow Fall, a rather large wall was built as a kind of climate control. It keeps the fires out, and many of the Hybrids in.
|
|
Around the entrance to the Underground, a rather large marketplace exists. Many old buildings were restored and made into restaurants and stores, of course, with such limited supplies, owners are often found bribing Black Market Dealers.
|
|
Lots of deteriorating old houses that used to be home to countless humans. Now all life within this area is pretty limited, but many free Hybrids call these old buildings home.
|
|
On the edge of Shadow Fall, the Wharf exists. Many of the ships are rusted through, and none of them will ever set sail again. The salt in the air from the ocean still exists, and tarnishes the sides of the Warehouses that the Rebels call home.
|
|
The Valley is an extensive network of underground tunnels and chambers that most humans call home. Mostly old subway routes, but humans have adapted and built their own city underneath that of Shadow Fall, where they can thrive. Radiation down here is low.
|
|
These Labs are mostly abandoned now, but some are still in use. It is said that Hybrids are still being tested on in the outer parts of it, but the very core of the structure is too full of radiation to safely pass. Rumors spread that there are creatures there that no man, nor hybrid, could defeat.
|
|
Among the rubble on the edge of the valley, there is a Prison. It is full, mostly, of violent humans, and lawbreakers that the death sentence has yet to be passed upon.
|
|
Much like a Bazaar, Black Market dealers have set up their shops, but information can come at a high price in this part of the Underground.
|
|
